Practica and Internship/Residency
Step Stone Psychology offers training sites for practicum students and interns/residents from universities like the University of Toronto, York University, Toronto Metropolitan University, The University of Western Ontario, Fielding University, and The University of Guelph. Supervision
Step Stone Psychology supervisors provide supervision to candidates for registration as psychologists, psychological associates and psychotherapists. Taking a developmental approach, we meet supervisees where they are at, building upon existing skills, fostering new growth and honing growing edges towards their career and skill-development needs.
Healthcare, Community & Corporate Training
Step Stone Psychology’s team provides tailored training programs and presentations to address academic organization, healthcare, corporate or community-based teams’ learning needs.
Talks and full- or half-day workshops are available on varied topics (e.g., stress management in the workplace, assertiveness and effective communication, empathic and emotionally attuned leadership, neuro-diversity, gender-diversity in the workplace, building a cohesive team, clinician training in complex mental health presentations and treatment, etc.). Services can be provided in-person and online.
Consultation
Step Stone’s team holds vast expertise and offers consultation to practitioners, and organizations to assist with supporting the development of healthier workplaces, offering organizational assessment and intervention as well as training. Step Stone’s team offers “expert” opinions, clinical insights and recommendations to other clinicians and practices to grow your/your team’s competence and capacity to address complex client and clinical needs.
